Science Curriculum Intent

Our aim is to provide children with a science curriculum which is exciting and practical with hands on experiences 'both indoor and outdoor' and that encourage curiosity and questioning. We intend to deliver stimulating experiences that will help our children secure and extend their knowledge to become confident, lifelong learners who will explore the world around them.

Hello, my name is Mrs Fallows and I lead Science here at Christ the King. This is my thirteenth year teaching at Christ the King and I love being able to share my love of science with the children.  I love to see children learning pratically, exploring the world around them whilst developing skills and knowledge.  I personally enjoy investigating science outdoors and enjoy exploring nature in the local area.

This year we are following the cycle D framework. Years 1 and 2, 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 will complete these topics.
