At Christ the King Catholic and CofE Primary School, our Christian faith underpins every aspect of the curriculum and is at the centre of our learning.  Children are actively encouraged to ‘Build God’s Kingdom’.

Intent

Our aim is to provide children with a science curriculum that is exciting and practical with hands on experiences, both indoor and outdoor, and that encourage curiosity and questioning.  We intend to deliver stimulating experiences that will help our children secure and extend their knowledge to become confident, life-long learners who will explore the world around them.

At Christ the King, our science learning is based on the requirements of the National Curriculum for Science,providing a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum; ensuring the progressive development of knowledge, skills and vocabulary and for our children to develop a love of scientific learning.
