Whole School Curriculum Intent
To inspire and nurture our learners to feel empowered and able to become responsible citizens in the community and wider world, whilst motivating them to aspire and achieve the highest standards.
RE Curriculum Intent Statement
In the life of faith of our Christian School, Religious Education plays a central and vital part. We are committed to Catholic RE because all pupils have the right to receive an overall religious education. RE is for all and is a collaborative activity, which respects and promotes the child’s innate capacity for wonder, awe, inquisitiveness and questioning.
At Christ the King, we aim to educate the whole person. At the heart of the school is a sense of purpose, which is to create a community that shares the values of wisdom, respect, forgiveness, creativity, wisdom and perseverance as shown through the example of Christ.
Hello. I am Mrs Grden and as the headteacher of Christ the King Catholic and Church of England Primary School, I am delighted to lead the Religious Education across our wonderful school. My belief and aim for these areas are reflected in my shared curriculum intent above and I am privileged to work with the children and staff, to ensure this intent and our gospel values, underpin all we do in school.
