Whole School Curriculum Intent

To inspire and nurture our learners to feel empowered and able to become responsible citizens in the community and wider world, whilst motivating them to aspire and achieve the highest standards.

Physical Education Curriculum Intent

At Christ the King, we strive to create a culture which aims to inspire an active generation to enjoy PE, encourage each other and achieve. We provide a safe and supportive environment for children to flourish in a range of different physical activities which is essential in supporting all children's physical, emotional, spiritual, social and moral development.

The aim of Physical Education is to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles. Children are taught to observe and produce the conventions of fair play, honest competition and good sporting behaviour as individual participants, team members and spectators. Thus embedding life-long values such as co-operation, collaboration and equity of play.

Subject Leader's Pen Portrait

Hi, my name is Mrs Fallows. I am proud to say I  have taught at Christ the King since it opened.  Iam pleased to be leading PE across the school. I enjoy all sports and am passionate about how physical education enables pupils to develop confidence, spacial awareness and co-ordination and develop appreciation of teamwork.
